Dancing in the golden dawn
Manes and tails fly in the wind
See them run
Mist swirling about their hooves
They rear and pirouette
To salute the sun
Sailing in majesty across the pond
Curve of white neck elegantly placed
Wings stretch and beat the water
To rise and fly
In the morning sky
Sun rises higher
And early morning mist floats away
While you and I cross the flower-strewn fields
Breathe in the dew-laden air
While hearts beat as one
With all the creatures of this beautiful world
We too take a moment
To salute the sun.
