When you are alone

When you float in a vacuum

And no one comes to you

When you reach out and cry

For a single touch

A moment of love

To feel that someone cares

Let me in

Let me open my arms and hold you

Let me embrace, hug, cuddle

Let me use my body to help you understand

That you are no longer alone

That you are cared for

That you are enfolded in security

And within the circle of my love

You have a cwtch, a place of safety

You will never be alone again.

Cwtch – welsh, noun. More than a cuddle or a hug, when you give someone a cwtch you figuratively give them a safe space. (pronounced ‘cuch’. )
