That doesn’t have any doctors?

Where patients are tended

After a fashion

By disenchanted nurses

Where the senile and confused

Wander unattended through the rooms

Of the sick and injured

Wailing their confusion

To their own detriment and the distress of the rest

What do you call a hospital

Where everyone has a different opinion

and none of them are right

where no one knows who’s in charge

and no one will take charge

Where just trying to go home

Becomes a nightmare of red tape

until the patient feels compelled

To plot escape like a prisoner

 

I call it a horror story

I call it a disgrace
