One may smile, and smile, and be a villain

Shakespeare knew, he understood

That pleasant words and mild manner

May hide a ruthless streak

You’ll throw anyone under a bus

To advance your own star

One face to show in sunshine

The other comes out in the shade

While you chirp and chuckle along your way

Your footsteps squelch across the shreds

Of the people you betray
