The universe is vast
And we are so very small
Infinitesimally tiny against the cosmos
Our great and wonderful world
The sum of all our experiences
Is itself only a grain of sand
On eternity’s beach
How can we be important
In the face of infinity
How can we have meaning
Awash on the time of time
Mere atoms before the vastness of creation
God bends down
Almighty creator, outside of time and space
God sees all, everything He made
Gold loves us, very small creatures He fashioned with care
God holds us, each and every one
And understands our very small prayers
